Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about REALART Frame Grants, eligibility, and how our community fund works.

1) Where do the funds come from?

From donations, merch revenue, and occasional partner drops. All inflows/outflows run through our public wallet and show up with on-chain receipts. See /fund for the live ledger.

2) Who can apply?

Any creator worldwide. Solo artists and small teams welcome. No fee to apply. One application per artist per cycle.

3) What kinds of work are eligible?

All mediums: digital, physical, performance, sound, video, etc. We're looking for works a small grant can help finish, ship, or show.

4) How much is a grant?

Micro-grants typically range from $250–$1,000 (varies with fund balance). We prioritize clear, immediate impact (materials, time, fees, shipping).

5) How are recipients selected?

Open submissions → team curates a shortlist → the community signal-boosts/votes → payouts are executed by multisig, and receipts are posted on-chain every Friday.

6) When do payouts happen and which chains do you use?

Payout cadence: Fridays. We currently pay on SOL to non-custodial wallets (no exchange addresses). You'll provide your chain + address on /fund/apply.

7) Do artists keep their rights? What license does REALART need?

You retain full rights to your work. If selected, you grant us a non-exclusive license to feature your name, images/video, and links on our site and socials to document the grant.

8) Can you repost my work? What's the credit policy?

Yes—winners may be featured across our channels with clear credit (name + links). Community members can use our brand templates for memes/UGC; always credit artists when reposting.

9) Where can I see receipts & past grants (and suggest an artist)?

All activity is on /fund (wallet, balance, last 10 tx) and /fund/grants (full ledger). To nominate someone amazing, hit "Suggest an artist" on /fund/grants.

10) Are donations tax-deductible? Is any of this financial advice?

REALART is a meme token project, not a charity; donations are generally not tax-deductible. Nothing here is financial or tax advice—DYOR and consult a professional if needed.
